This year the Clinical Practice Symposium will feature a panel of expert clinicians demonstrating key assessments and interventions while working with pregnant mothers with mood and anxiety disorders during the perinatal period.
Our panel of experts will demonstrate how prenatal adversities increase the risk of developing subsequent psychopathology in mothers and their exposed children.
Learning Objectives:
- Demonstrate evidence-based assessment and interventions when working with pregnant mothers with mood and anxiety disorders during perinatal period.
- Explore the links between prenatal adversities and perinatal psychiatric risks.
- Apply different treatment interventions to minimize the impact of prenatal adversities on future psychopathology in mothers and their exposed children.
