This study is examining a self-guided imagery paradigm for reducing negative ways of thinking about the self. Participants will be enrolled online through the University of Texas at Austin. Participants will be randomly selected to receive one of two types of trainings, each over the course of two weeks. Participants will undergo the training exercises at home, from their own computers and smartphones. The training exercises are intended to help them to think differently about themselves.
What to expect:
- Spend 5 minutes or less to see if you’re eligible
- Complete a few quick tasks, and 5 minutes every other day for that time period completing a check-in on your phone or computer
- Get paid up to $35 for completing the study
