Specially Selected Apps for ADAA:

  • The PsyberGuide Rating:
    • Can be seen as a measure of credibility, and rates the research and support basis backing an app on a 5 point scale.
  • The Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS):
    • Is a 5-point measure of user experience, and rates apps on Engagement, Functionality, Aesthetics and Information, as well as a measure of Subjective Quality and Perceived Impact.
  • Transparency Checklists:
    • Relate to information regarding an apps’ data storage and collection policies, and how readily available this information is to users. An app's transparency scores are classified as Acceptable, Questionable, or Unacceptable.
