Austin Anxiety and OCD Specialists is a thriving group practice with three offices (Round Rock, Westlake, Central Austin) in the greater Austin area. Our therapists are committed to providing innovative, evidence-based treatment to children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. Austin Anxiety and OCD Specialists is a well-respected community resource and our postdoctoral training program was recently approved for APPIC membership. Our postdoctoral fellowship provides advanced clinical training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT). Postdoctoral fellows will have an opportunity to gain clinical mastery in diagnostic skills, case conceptualization, treatment planning, and intervention related to the following common clinical presentations:

Application Procedure:
Eligibility for our postdoctoral position requires a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited graduate program. Our strongest candidates will be able to demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based treatment with experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders. This year we are accepting trainees for both our child and adolescent services and our adult services. Our 2021-2022 clinical supervisors are Dr. Alina Khomenko, Dr. Misti Nicholson, Dr. Erika Vivyan, Dr. Amanda Hilberg, Dr. Melissa McHugh Dillon, Dr. Emily Gorzalski, and Dr. Samantha Myhre.
