Ariel Nickie Davies, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Maryland. Dr. Davies completed her post-doctoral residency at Wellspan Behavioral Health receiving specialized training in CBT under certified CBT clinicians. In her role as a licensed psychologist, she worked with individuals of various clinical presentations. She also served as faculty for an APA-accredited internship focused on the education and training of CBT. Dr. Nickie Davies is a Diplomate with the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and a Beck Institute CBT Certified Clinician.
Dr. Davies currently works at a private practice in the Baltimore area. She uses CBT with adults experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, and issues related to their minority status. Most of her work is with people of the African diaspora, promoting overall wellness in a cultural framework. In her role she supervises doctoral students, teaching them how to practice basic elements of CBT as growing clinicians. Additionally, Dr. Nickie Davies supervises as a Beck Institute Faculty.
