ADAA Professional Committees, Groups, and Scientific Council

ADAA Committees and Scientific Council

The Anxiety and Depression Association of America’s (ADAA) Professional Committees, Scientific Council, and Special Interest Groups (SIGS) support our mission to advance research, education, and evidence-based care for anxiety, depression, and related disorders.

The Public Education Committee, the Conference Committee, and Special Interest Groups (SIGS) bring together mental health experts who work to improve public awareness and professional training through ADAA education programs, peer to peer learning, conferences, and resources.

The Scientific Council is a group of leading researchers and clinicians dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and translating research into better care for patients.
Serving on an ADAA committee or the Scientific Council offers members the opportunity to collaborate with experts, share ideas, and help shape the future of anxiety and depression research and treatment.

If you're an ADAA member and interested in joining a Committee or the Scientific Council please email [email protected].

"ADAA serves a critical function in advancing the field of anxiety and depression by providing a unique forum for the exchange of ideas between researchers and clinicians. This rich interchange serves to stimulate both the advance of research as well as the integration of cutting-edge science into the care of our patients.
