ADAA is the only multidisciplinary professional organization engaging the world’s leading experts focused on anxiety and depressive disorders in children and adults.
Our 1,500 member community is made up of a diverse network of clinicians and basic and clinical anxiety and depression researchers with backgrounds in medicine, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, neuroscience, genetics, epidemiology, and other disciplines. ADAA members strive to improve patient care by promoting implementation of evidence-based treatments and best practices across disciplines through training, continuing education, and accelerating dissemination of research into practice.

What Current Members Have to Say About ADAA
CANCELLATIONS AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS
ADAA membership requires payment of annual membership dues. New memberships may be cancelled for a refund up to 14 days from the date of dues payment. An administrative fee of $25 will be applied. ADAA will not provide refunds beyond this date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to membership@adaa.org. Refund requests made by telephone will not be accepted.
ADAA reserves the right to terminate any membership application or dues payment should the applicant be determined to be ineligible for ADAA membership. In these rate instances, a full refund will be provided. Eligibility criteria for professional memberships can be found here. Eligibility criteria for trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and residents can be found here. Eligibility criteria for students can be found here. Student members must download a screenshot of their current academic schedule or submit a letter from their institution verifying their full-time student or clinical or research assistant status. Failure to provide this documentation may result in membership cancellation.
