Mighty Miniatures

​Each of our mighty miniatures are perfectly imperfect and beautifully flawed, as is the human spirit. And don’t underestimate their size, for they may be itty-bitty, but with the biggest of hearts, the most positive of attitudes, and the purest mindset, they are here to bring a bit of light, love, and whimsy to you and your loved ones. It’s about finding happiness in the “little” things.

How it all started:

I am Jaime Garcia, creator of Mighty Miniatures. Struggling with anxiety and PTSD, the difficulties of 2020 left me feeling trapped, alone, and in desperate need of an escape. In an attempt to get out of my own head and keep my hands busy, I decided to begin a felting craft that would unknowingly become a passion project that would pull me out of the depths of my own despair. Working on these mighty creatures gave me a sense of purpose. Instead of waking up with a heavy heart, feeling down and uncertain, I began to feel lighter, happier, stronger. It was at this point that I knew this was more than a craft; this was a mission. A mission that I could extend beyond myself, to others that might be struggling too.

In order to light my newfound spark into something more, I pulled in my forever tribe and soul sisters, Natalie Karpes and Andrea Fanton. These two have forever been my greatest allies, confidants, cheerleaders, shoulders to cry on, and a true inspiration. Together we make a rather powerful trifecta of creativity, knowledge and most importantly LOVE. We knew instantly that a major goal of ours was to raise awareness and help support others that may also be struggling with their own mental health. We chose to donate a portion of our proceeds to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) because of their clear mission to help people triumph over anxiety and depression through education, practice, and research. We are overjoyed and extremely proud to help support the ADAA and their cause. If we can give even an ounce of joy that creating our mighty miniatures has given to us, while giving back to the ADAA, then surely this would all be considered a raging success.
