Abigail Powers Lott, PhD, ABPP is a board-certified psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine, where she also serves as Co-Director of the Grady Trauma Project. Dr. Lott’s research focuses broadly on identifying psychological and biological mechanisms of risk related to the impact of interpersonal trauma exposure on adverse health outcomes across the lifespan and generations and improving trauma-related treatment access and outcomes in for civilians. She treats adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health challenges, with a particular focus on mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.
