Jessica Brooks, PhD, is a licensed psychologist, former tenure-track Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling/Psychology at the University of North Texas, and former postdoctoral researcher at Dartmouth College and Columbia University. Her academic work focused on evidence-based behavioral health, chronic mental and physical illness, disability, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
Dr. Brooks is currently the Founder and Clinical Director of a multi-state telehealth behavioral health practice, called Neurodiversity & Disability Affirming Therapy. Dr. Brooks oversees clinical operations, provider recruitment and supervision, payer contracting, multi-state licensure compliance, and strategic growth. Dr. Brooks built and oversees a multi-state clinician network supported by scalable operational systems and infrastructure designed to sustainably expand access to high-quality care.
Her work bridges academic rigor and real-world healthcare delivery. She is particularly interested in clinical strategy, scalable care delivery systems, provider network development, and advancing evidence-based behavioral health, especially for those historically underserved, at scale.
