Exercise and sleep play a critical role in mental health, yet they are often underutilized in clinical practice.

In this session, Kristin Szuhany, PhD, a member of ADAA’s Sleep Special Interest Group (SIG), reviews the latest evidence on how physical activity and sleep impact anxiety, depression, and overall well-being. This discussion highlights practical implications for clinicians, including how to integrate exercise and sleep interventions into treatment to support improved mental health outcomes.
