8 CE hours: A Family Systems-Informed Approach to Treatment Refusal
When someone facing OCD, depression, hoarding, or panic refuses help it can destabilize their entire family. In these cases, many clinicians don’t realize there’s a powerful intervention at their disposal—one that supports adaptive family dynamics, increases the well-being of the family members who are seeking help, and indirectly promotes recovery in their loved one.
Navigating Treatment Refusal: A Family Systems-Informed Approach teaches a practical framework you can integrate into your existing approach to treat family members’ distress while promoting recovery-supportive dynamics for the individual resisting care.
Led by the originators of the intervention, this 8 CE hour live online course takes place in 2 sessions on September 25 and October 2 from 1:00–5:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
- Session 1 | September 25, 2026, 1:00 p.m.–5:15 p.m. EST
- Session 2 | October 2, 2026, 1:00 p.m.–5:15 p.m. EDT
