Menopause and Mental Health: Optimizing Quality of Life in Mid-life

While women’s experiences in mid-life are highly variable, certain symptoms are common during the menopausal transition and impact quality of life. 

This talk discusses common symptoms a woman might experience during the menopausal transition and evidence-based treatments for these symptoms. The talk also covers the course of psychiatric disorders around menopause. By recognizing common symptoms and their treatments, distress can be alleviated, and quality of life can be optimized for women in mid-life.
