Dr. Blanco-Oilar holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and has been providing clinical services for over 14 years. She is the proud recipient of a Dissertation Award from the American Psychological Association. She provides evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups. She enjoys working with adults and older adults (18+) going through life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or those experiencing grief and loss, depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, eating disorders, complex trauma, or recent trauma. While she practices as a generalist helping clients with a wide range of presenting concerns, her area of specialty is helping clients heal form recent or past trauma. She is an EMDR provider, an evidence-based treatment for trauma. Dr. Blanco-Oilar she has native fluency both in Spanish well as in English. She is passionate about working with a diverse group of people including those from multicultural backgrounds, immigrants/expats and clients with LGBTQ identities. Dr. Blanco-Oilar also offers psychological testing for adults including full psychological batteries, bariatric, and psychoeducational testing.
