Dr. Siegel's work begins with a warm, empathetic, and caring style. His goal is to understand how a client sees the world, and to then meet that client where he or she is in the immediate distress. Treatment begins with assessment aimed at learning as much as possible about a client’s concerns, and how these concerns are affecting his or her life. Using a collaborative approach, Dr. Siegel works with his clients to develop individualized treatment plans to target both specific goals and symptoms, helping his people live richer, more enjoyable, and less anxiety-driven lives. Primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), treatment is aimed at relearning how to respond to anxious and depressive thoughts and feelings. Drawing on a variety of interventions, treatment techniques and protocols, therapy with Dr. Siegel centers around living the life you want to live, regardless of what thoughts try to get in the way.
