Halle Bonner is a master's student at Vanderbilt University pursuing a Master of Education degree in the Peabody Child Studies program. She completed her bachelor's study at the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is currently a practicum student training under Dr. Jessica Schwartzman in the Vanderbilt Psychiatry Services clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Halle’s research interests pertain to the autism community, specifically adolescents with autism. She is especially interested in autistic individuals with comorbid disorders like anxiety and depression. In recent research she has explored social behaviors, such as social camouflaging and internalizing symptoms that look different for autistic children compared to typically developing children. She is also interested in treatment and interventions best suited for individuals with autism and early psychological assessments. Halle plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology upon completing her master's study.
