Dr. Hannah Bergman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Project Director of the “UW Stress Check” study at the University of Washington. The UW Stress Check project is testing if a brief phone-delivered MET intervention promotes treatment seeking and engagement among active-duty military service members who have questions or concerns about their reactions to traumatic event(s) experienced at any point during their life, but who are not currently engaged in PTSD treatment.
Dr. Bergman completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Case Western Reserve University and clinical psychology internship training at the VA Puget Sound, Seattle Division in 2017. Her clinical interests include providing evidence-based care to individuals with PTSD and comorbid-related disorders. Her research interests focus on identifying factors that impact PTSD treatment decision-making and treatment outcome.
