Dr. Hilary Weingarden is a psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Weingarden's research focuses on cognitive and emotional risk factors for adverse outcomes in obsessive-compulsive related disorders (OCRDs), and on applying technology to enhance assessments and interventions for OCRDs. Currently, she is conducting an NMIH K23-funded study using smartphone-based ecological momentary assessment and digital phenotyping to detect negative emotion states in body dysmorphic disorder, in order to predict acute risk for suicidal ideation and substance use. Dr, Weingarden is also a co-Investigator on industry collaborations to develop and test smartphone CBT for OCRDs and related conditions.
