Dr. Micah Ioffe is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, with advanced training in OCD and selective mutism treatment. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Dr. Ioffe utilizes empirically supported approaches in her work with clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Dr. Ioffe has co-authored three books: Rewire Your Anxious Brains for Teens: Using CBT, Neuroscience, and Mindfulness to Help You End Anxiety, Panic, and Worry; Break Free from Intrusive Thoughts: An Evidence-Based Guide for Managing Fear and Finding Peace; and Overcoming Parental Anxiety: Rewire Your Brain to Worry Less and Enjoy Parenting More. She has also authored multiple research publications and presented at regional and national conferences.
