Rebecca Schneider, PhD is an Assistant Professor and licensed psychologist at the Emory University School of Medicine. She is the Director of the Child OCD Program at Emory (COPE), a telehealth-based intensive outpatient program for youth with OCD. Dr. Schneider received her PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Child and Adolescent OCD Institute (OCDI Jr.) at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her clinical and research interests focus on using acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to enhance exposure treatment for OCD, anxiety, and misophonia in youth. Dr. Schneider has published research papers and given numerous presentations on ACT, emotion dysregulation, OCD, and anxiety in youth. She is a board member of OCD Georgia, co-founder and executive council member of both the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) OCD Special Interest Group and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) ACT Special Interest Group, and was a 2023 Career Development Leadership Program (CDLP) clinical track awardee.
