Valerie Hoover, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Instructor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University, School of Medicine. Dr. Hoover specializes in working with patients on issues like depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and life stress that impact cardiac health. She also works with patients on changing habits around food, exercise, and sleep to better manage cardiac risk.
