The anxiety group is primarily a self-help group for persons who are experiencing anxiety and other related disorders. Our mission is to help each other in our recovery from anxiety. Facilitation provides peer support, education, sharing and practicing recovery techniques to help each other achieve peace of mind.
The only requirement to participate in the group is your commitment to recover from anxiety disorders and to help others with the same goal.

Come share with others who are experiencing anxiety, bipolar, or panic disorders. Learn some new ways of coping with stress and conquering your fears. New participants are welcome. Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. In general, it helps one deal with life situations. But when anxiety becomes an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, it has become a disabling disorder. Some types of anxiety are Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder and Phobias.
