Ali B. Klein, B.A. is a second year graduate student at Case Western Reserve University, working with Dr. Norah Feeny. Before beginning graduate school, Ali worked as a research assistant at the VA Boston Healthcare System, National Center for PTSD under the supervision of Dr. Brian Marx on a large-scale study aimed at developing a longitudinal registry of 1,649 Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans.

Forester, MD, MSc, is the chief of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at McLean Hospital and medical director for Behavioral Health in the Center for Population Health Management at Partners HealthCare. Dr. Forester is an expert in geriatric psychiatry, specializing in the treatment of older adults with depression, bipolar disorder, and behavioral complications of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Brian Klassen, PhD, is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center and staff psychologist in the Road Home Program: Center for Veterans and Their Families. As a clinician, Dr. Klassen provides individual and group psychotherapy to both combat veterans and survivors of military sexual trauma. Dr. Klassen is particularly interested in moral injury as well as psychotherapeutic mechanisms of change.

Philip Held, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Held is also the Research Director for the Warrior Care Network’s Road Home Program: Center for Veterans and their Families. Dr. Held’s research interests include the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related disorders using evidence-based treatments, with a special emphasis on the delivery of these treatments in condensed or intensive formats. Dr. Held also conducts research in the area of moral injury.
