SIG Peer Consultation

I'm very grateful for all of the feedback and how much I learn just from listening to others. - Nina Rifkind, LCSW, ACS

Many SIGs hold monthly online peer consultation groups. The goal is to provide a safe and confidential forum for SIG members to discuss cases, collaborate, and share resources. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn from your colleagues and build an online community of like-minded therapists. All SIG members are sent the link to join a peer consultation every month. If you would like to join in and are not a member of the SIG, please email membership.

Peer consultation is a member benefit offered at no cost.

This group is an invaluable benefit of ADAA membership. - Jennifer Lish, PhD

The OCD SIG includes other clinicians who have very substantial expertise in doing exposure and response prevention. If I am struggling with a particular case they can always get me unstuck. As a solo practitioner in a small city, I am not surrounded by other people who do ERP. Being able to check in with the members of the OCD SIG increases my confidence that I am practicing according to an evidence based protocol with good fidelity. - Jennifer Lish, PhD

The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Special Interest Group (SIG) is a monthly online meeting where highly skilled clinicians provide support and feedback to each other. Complex clinical cases are discussed and members offer helpful suggestions. The group provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with clinicians who are treating OCD and to grow professionally. I highly recommend joining this supportive peer consultation group. - Nancy Miller, PsyD

This SIG holds monthly peer group consultations to provide a forum for ADAA members to connect regularly and discuss clinical challenges, successes, and emerging treatment trends.
