Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking an outstanding Child and Adolescent Psychologist specializing in mood disorders to join the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.

The successful applicant will join an energetic and collegial group of twelve (12) child psychologists, twelve (12) child psychiatrists, and many allied health clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. The primary role of the psychologist is to develop, evaluate, and co-lead a child and adolescent mood program that provides comprehensive and multi-disciplinary care for children and adolescents. Clinical activities include co-leading an intensive outpatient treatment program for youth with mood and emotion regulation difficulties, conducting multidisciplinary evaluations of complex pediatric mood disorders, and providing and supervising ongoing treatment for youth with mood disorders.   Interested applicants can also join an initiative to develop a digital platform to increase access to evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents.  Mayo Clinic offers opportunities in leadership, program development, and research. Educational and supervision opportunities are abundant within the Medical Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program and with other trainees. The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, rank commensurate with experience.

License or Certification
Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota and be Board-certified/Board-eligible through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Requirements for the position include completion of an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program and internship.  Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical, educational, and research collaboration and excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities.

Are you an experienced child and adolescent therapist looking for a flexible, supportive environment in which to develop your career as a supervising clinician? 

We are seeking experienced NY State-based, licensed clinicians to join us in delivering empirically-based, cognitive behavioral assessment and treatment services for adolescents 12 to 17 years of age with anxiety and related disorders. 

Lumate Health is a new, online mental health services start-up organization that provides clinicians with continual training, consultation, practice management, and a community of peers that support one another to deliver high-quality Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Our mission is to enable people to positively change the outcome of their lives, clinicians and patients alike.

Our goal is to:
•    create a community of peer and expert support for practitioners
•    ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care
•    launch an exclusively telehealth environment that can effectively address the urgent needs of youth today 
•    provide clinicians future opportunities to flexibly design their schedule and participate in both research and patient-care

Co-led by renowned clinicians and researchers,  Anne Marie Albano, Ph.D., Muniya Khanna, Ph.D., Kate McKnight, Ph.D., and John Piacentini, Ph.D., leaders in cognitive behavioral treatments for youth with anxiety and industry-based innovators. 

Our clinicians will have access to a platform of virtual content-based tools to best serve their patients’ needs. Our patients and their parents will also be engaged and supported by a tailored platform to access educational content and tools to meet their individual therapy needs and maintain results over time.

The optimal candidate for this position has at least 3 years experience delivering CBT to youth with anxiety and related disorders, is self-motivated and creative with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of their patients. This candidate will thrive in a dynamic, flexible, and team-based virtual environment. 

This is a full-time, virtual position for which candidates must have the ability to deliver confidential mental health care from a secure location and to participate in our training, quality assurance, ongoing education, and peer support programming.

•    Platform-based materials that facilitate:

All materials above have been developed by Anne Marie Albano, Ph.D., Muniya Khanna, Ph.D., Kate McKnight, Ph.D., and John Piacentini, Ph.D., all leading experts in cognitive behavioral therapy and the treatment of anxiety and related disorders.

Minimum requirements:  This is a full-time position requiring at least a Master’s Degree, a license to practice in NY State and prior experience delivering CBT to children and adolescents for the treatment of anxiety or related disorders in youth. 

Preferred experience:  
Three years of supervised experience in treating youth with anxiety and related conditions.
Prior coursework in child development, child and adolescent psychopathology, and psychosocial interventions for youth.

The salary for this position is competitive for NY and will be commensurate with experience.
