This webinar is focused on increasing patient homework compliance in evidence-based treatment for PTSD via the application of behavioral theory, specified clinical techniques, and the use of easily available technologies.  Case examples, tangible tools, and resources are incorporated to assist with learning and pragmatic application of webinar content.  Although the webinar is focused on the case example of prolonged exposure for PTSD, the content is broadly applicable to EBTs in general for anxiety-spectrum disorders.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Attendees will be able to identify and describe at least one behavioral theory that can be applied to clinical practice in order to encourage client homework completion.
  2. Attendees will be able to identify at least three pragmatic methods for incorporating technology into clinical care to encourage patient homework adherence.
  3. Attendees will be able to identify empirical predictors of homework compliance in exposure-oriented EBTs.
  4. Attendees will learn a framework to increase the accuracy of differential diagnosis in PTSD and will be able to articulate how diagnostic accuracy relates to treatment adherence.
