This webinar will provide the basic information that mental health providers should know regarding the changes to telemental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, including brief overviews of a variety of federal and New York State policies and guidance.

1.    Identify basic changes to federal policies and rules regarding telemental health
2.    Identify basic changes to New York State policies and rules regarding telemental health
3.    Identify considerations to be made regarding providing telemental health services

Dena Defazio

Dena DeFazio is an associate in Barclay Damon LLP’s Health Care & Human Services and Health Care Controversies practice areas.  She focuses her practice on both regulatory and compliance issues in the health care industry, as well as health care-related litigation and administrative proceedings.  Dena received her J.D. summa cum laude from Albany Law School, and her M.S.W. from the University at Buffalo.

ADAA Continuing Education Credits for Live and On-Demand Programming

You must participate in the entire activity as partial credit is not available.  If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

Some ADAA professional webinars focused on diversity or cultural competency subject matter are eligible for the Cross-Culture Competency Diversity Credit. If a webinar is eligible for this credit, it will be reflected on your credit certificate.
