Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons

Dr. Fyer's research interests include the genetics of anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and specific phobias. Dr. Fyer has conducted numerous NIMH-supported studies on familial and genetic aspects of anxiety disorders. She is currently involved in linkage and association studies of panic disorder, as well as several pilot studies to explore potential alternative phenotypes for molecular genetic studies of anxiety.

Dr. Fyer has been an ADAA member since 1990.
