AMG Presents: TRIUMPH - Anxiety and Depression Benefit Concert

AMG Presents: TRIUMPH - Anxiety and Depression Benefit Concert

by Brady Altland

At AMG, we strive for excellence from our organization, our artists and our team in not just the work that we do in the music industry, but in our work in the community as well. When planning our spring concert/tour schedule, CEO and founder, Brady Altland, decided he wanted to plan a charity event or concert to give back to the community. When asked about the event Brady said, “I wanted to use my platform with AMG to do something special for the community and couldn't think of anything else I would rather give back to or support.” With millions of people across the US and world who are suffering from anxiety, depression and mental health issues, we wanted to support an amazing organization and cause to help all those who are struggling every day with these fights. On May 25th, 2019, AMG will host, Triumph, an anxiety and depression charity concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Fire.

Our lineup features some of the most compassionate and energetic in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area and we are very excited to host such an incredible lineup. All the artists on the lineup have a great compassion for this cause and are just as excited as we are about bringing it to Philadelphia. Southern Jersey and AMG signed hip-hop artist, Ashtin Larold shared his thoughts on what being able to be involved in the concert means to him, “I’ve been very vocal about my struggle with mental health issues from the start of my career. Over 23 million people have watched me talk about my battle with depression and suicide in front of a group of my peers. I’ve lost a friend to suicide, and I’ve had two fans kill themselves and contact me through letters they left behind. My passion for mental health awareness is second only to my passion for music, and I will continue to do anything I can to spread a message of resilience and positivity through my actions, and through my music. I’m honored, and proud to be in a position where I can use my small platform to help a good cause."

Our main goal of the concert is to bring the people of Philadelphia together to raise awareness for ADAA and for anxiety/mental health awareness, but to of course also raise money so that we can make a direct impact to ADAA and to help everyone who is in need. “Everyone has had their battles and fights with mental health, including myself, and I know that for me and many of my friends and peers, music can be a great relief and escape from our struggles with anxiety or depression.” We thought of no better way to support ADAA than by holding a concert to support their organization and awareness efforts. While this concert will be a great chance to bring the Philadelphia community together, it also gives us a great opportunity to give back to a great organization and a cause that is truly close to our hearts.

We wanted to worth with ADAA because they are obviously doing such amazing work and are actively making the world a better place. We wanted to team up with an organization who would be as excited about this event as we are and who would want to support us in our efforts to help all those who are fighting anxiety, depression or mental health issues.
