Present and Attend the Annual Conference + −
ADAA convenes an annual conference usually in March or April that brings together clinicians, social workers, psychiatrists, researchers, and other experts who want to improve treatments and find cures for anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders.
As a member you receive a members-only significantly discounted registration rate and complimentary CE’s (usually 18+ credits per conference).
- Present your latest research/ clinical expertise in a session at the conference or volunteer to peer-review your colleagues’ submissions.

ADAA’s peer- to- peer continuing education programs, supports patient care and accelerates the dissemination of research into practice by promoting the implementation of evidence-based treatments and best practices.
ADAA hosts about 4-6 live and on-demand interdisciplinary continuing education and professional development webinars. As a member you receive complimentary CE/CME credits and free registration to live webinars and access to all on-demand webinars.

ADAA’s public education programs allow members and non-members to share their expertise to help the public manage life with an anxiety depression or related disorder through various learning tools. Journal of Mood & Anxiety DisordersTM, the official Journal of ADAA, welcomes original clinical, translational, and basic research as well as synthetic review articles covering neurobiology (genetics and neuroimaging), epidemiology, experimental psychopathology, pathophysiology and treatment (psychotherapeutic, neuromodulation, and pharmacologic) aspects of mood and anxiety disorders. We encourage original research submissions from basic neuroscientists and pharmacologists as well as all clinical investigators to establish a platform for translational advances and discussion. To advance this discussion, review papers focusing on current treatment advances as well as those providing innovative and cutting-edge reviews of key areas and issues guiding mood and anxiety disorder science will be prioritized. We encourage submissions from international experts. All submissions will be peer reviewed

CANCELLATIONS AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS
ADAA membership requires payment of annual membership dues. New memberships may be cancelled for a refund up to 14 days from the date of dues payment. An administrative fee of $30 will be applied. ADAA will not provide refunds beyond this date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refund requests made by telephone will not be accepted.
ADAA reserves the right to terminate any membership application or dues payment should the applicant be determined to be ineligible for ADAA membership. In these rate instances, a full refund will be provided. Eligibility criteria for professional memberships can be found here. Eligibility criteria for trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and residents can be found here. Eligibility criteria for students can be found here. Student members must download a screenshot of their current academic schedule or submit a letter from their institution verifying their full-time student or clinical or research assistant status. Failure to provide this documentation may result in membership cancellation.
